Late Summer Sadhana with Jocelyn Hollmann

After yet another summer of uncertainty and an ever-changing 'new normal', re-centre yourself with this multi-day practice.
Classes will take place Tuesday to Friday mornings, with a longer session on Saturday morning.
You may participate in the weekday sessions only, the Saturday session only, or the complete 5-day Sadhana.
The sessions will be held online. If some in-person participation becomes possible, this will be advised.
Suggested equipment: 1 mat, 2 belts, 2 blocks, 4-6 blankets, 1 bolster,1 yoga chair (check out our blog post on improvising equipment).
Tue to Fri sessions - 6:15 am to 8:15 am Saturday session - 8:00 am to 10:30 am

Yoga is more than bending, balancing and breathing. In this 5-day workshop, explore why we do Asana and Pranayama and where their regular practice can lead us.
Suggested equipment: A mat, 2 belts, 2 blocks, 4-6 blankets, 1 yoga chair... plus joy and an open mind!

Shoulder injuries and tight shoulders often force the lumbar spine to over-move. In this workshop, learn to mobilize the shoulders while creating a stronger lower back.

Explore... Sarvangasana with Jocelyn Hollmann
An interactive workshop to explore Sarvangasana and variations.
A series of Asanas are explored through various approaches in the Iyengar method. The intent is to improve reflection and develop sensitivity in the body, mind, and breath to receive the benefits of Sarvangasana. Alternatives and modifications are explored. This workshop is suitable for all capabilities.
Suggested equipment: A mat, 2 belts, 2 blocks, 5 blankets (or a bolster + 3 blankets), and a chair.
