a 5-day interactive intensive with Jocelyn Hollmann

Yoga is more than bending, balancing and breathing.  In this 5-day workshop, explore why we do Asana and Pranayama and where their regular practice can lead us.

Suggested equipment: A mat, 2 belts, 2 blocks, 4-6 blankets, 1 yoga chair... plus joy and an open mind!

Pranayama - 7:30 am to 8:30 am

Asana - 9:00 am to 11:00 am

Explore... shoulder mobility & lumbar stability -                      an interactive workshop with Jocelyn Hollmann

Shoulder injuries and tight shoulders often force the lumbar spine to over-move.  In this workshop, learn to mobilize the shoulders while creating a stronger lower back.

Suggested equipment: A mat, 2 belts, 2 blocks, 4 blankets, 1 chair

Explore... Sarvangasana with Jocelyn Hollmann

An interactive workshop to explore Sarvangasana and variations.

A series of Asanas are explored through various approaches in the Iyengar method. The intent is to improve reflection and develop sensitivity in the body, mind, and breath to receive the benefits of Sarvangasana. Alternatives and modifications are explored. This workshop is suitable for all capabilities.

 

Suggested equipment: A mat, 2 belts, 2 blocks, 5 blankets (or a bolster + 3 blankets), and a chair.
