Questions about Booking Classes Online

How do I book a class?
  • Log in to your Yoga Toronto 196 account.

  • Click on 'Schedule' or ‘Classes’ in the top menu.

    • Using 'Schedule' will take you directly to the calender.

    • Using 'Classes' - from the class list, choose a class and click the ‘Book Now’ button to go to the calendar.

  • In the calendar, click on the date and time you want; the details will show up in a popup.

  • Click on the ‘Next’ button.

  • Enter your full name in the ‘Add Your Info’ section.

  • If you have no availability left in your class pass, you will be directed to the "Buy Classes" section to purchase a new class pass before you can proceed.

  • Click on the ‘Book It’ button.

  • A confirmation popup appears.

  • You will receive a confirmation email (with the Zoom link for online classes).

Can I book a recurring class?

No.  You must book each class individually. You may, however, use the ‘Book Again’ feature in the ‘History’ tab to book the same class for a future date and time.

  • Log into your Yoga Toronto 196 account.

  • Click on the down arrow to the left of the ‘get in touch’ button at the top right corner.

  • Click on ‘My Bookings’ in the drop-down menu.

  • Go into the ‘History’ tab.

  • Click on the ‘Book Again’ button beside the class you want to take again.

  • The calendar will show the next date and time for this class or you can scroll to the desired date.

  • Follow the same steps as for booking a class (see above).

I haven’t purchased a class pass yet.  Can I still book a class?

No.  You will need to purchase a class pass before you can book a class.  You may purchase single-class or multi-class passes for online classes or for in-studio classes.

I booked a class but I was not able to attend. How does this affect my total available classes?

If you do not show up for a class, the class will still be deducted from the total available under your pass.  If you purchased a 1-class pass, it will no longer be available.

 

To ensure the teacher can maintain awareness of all students, and due to COVID protocols for in-studio classes, we limit the number of attendees for any given class.  As a result, we are unable to reinstate missed classes. If you know you cannot attend a class, you should cancel it at least 24 hours beforehand.

Something has come up. How do I cancel a class I’ve already booked?
  • Log into your Yoga Toronto 196 account.

  • Click on the down arrow to the left of the ‘get in touch’ button at the top right corner.

  • Click on ‘My Bookings’ in the drop-down menu.

  • Click on the down arrow beside the class you wish to cancel.

  • A popup will ask you to confirm that you wish to cancel the class.  Click on ‘Yes’.

  • Provided you cancel within 12 hours of the scheduled class, the class will be added back to your pass and will be available until the pass expires.

  • Since class spaces are limited, please cancel as early as possible so another person can use the spot.

Something has come up. Can I reschedule a class I’ve already booked?

Yes, using the ‘Reschedule’ feature:

  • Log into your Yoga Toronto 196 account.

  • Click on the down arrow to the left of the ‘get in touch’ button at the top right corner.

  • Click on ‘My Bookings’ in the drop-down menu.

  • Click on ‘Reschedule’ button beside the class you wish to reschedule.

  • Scroll through the calendar to find the next dates and times for the class.

  • Click on the date and time that you would like to change to.

  • Click the ‘Next’ button.

  • A confirmation popup appears.

You will receive a confirmation email (with the Zoom link for online classes).

Since class spaces are limited, please reschedule as early as possible so someone else can use the spot.

I deleted the confirmation email. How can I get the Zoom link for an online class?
  • Log into your Yoga Toronto 196 account.

  • Click on the down arrow to the left of the ‘get in touch’ button at the top right corner.

  • Click on ‘My Bookings’ in the drop-down menu.

  • Click on the down arrow beside the appropriate class.

  • Click on the ‘Join Zoom Meeting’ link.

I can’t remember which classes I’ve booked. Where can I find this information?

All your bookings can be found in the ‘My Bookings’ section of your account.

  • Log into your Yoga Toronto 196 account.

  • Click on the down arrow to the left of the ‘get in touch’ button at the top right corner.

  • Click on ‘My Bookings’ in the drop-down menu.

  • All of the classes you have booked will appear, in two tabs, ‘Upcoming’ and ‘History’ (classes in the past).

 I can’t remember how many classes are left under my pass.  Where can I find this information?

The details of your pass and availability can be found in the ‘My Subscriptions’ section of your account.

  • Log into your Yoga Toronto 196 account.

  • Click on the down arrow to the left of the ‘get in touch’ button at the top right corner.

  • Click on ‘My Subscriptions’ in the drop-down menu.

  • A list of your purchased passes will appear.

  • Click on the down arrow beside the relevant pass.

  • The pass name, expiry date, and remaining sessions (classes) available will be displayed.  Note that both classes already taken and those booked during the remainder of the pass' validity are deducted from the total to show remaining availability (e.g., 9-class pass: 9 classes minus 1 class taken and 2 classes booked equals 6 classes remaining before the pass is used up).

I was able to book a class without paying.  What will happen?

Please contact the studio to arrange payment.  If you do not do so, you will receive an invoice in the amount of the price of the relevant 1-class pass + HST.   You will also be blocked from booking additional classes.
