How do the plans and pricing work?

In general, you buy a pass or a class pack and then book one or more classes under the selected pass/pack. 

What plans and pricing options do you offer?

We offer passes for online classes and for in-studio classes. For online classes, this includes monthly auto-renewing passes and passes valid for 1 class or 4 classes. For in-studio classes, we offer passes valid for 1 class or 5 classes.  We also offer a pass for free online introductory classes.

  • Monthly Single Pass - Online ($40 + HST)

    • Valid for one month

    • Valid for one person

    • Up to 9 online classes per month can be booked under the pass

    • Any category of online class can be booked

    • Unused classes cannot be carried forward

    • Auto-renewal – the pass is renewed automatically each month on the same date until cancelled

    • Cancellation – automatic renewal of the pass can be cancelled at any time for subsequent months

  • Monthly Family Pass - Online ($60 + HST)

    • Valid for one month

    • Valid for two or more people in the same household taking classes together at the same time from the same location

    • Up to 9 online classes per month can be booked under the pass

    • Any category of online class can be booked

    • Unused classes cannot be carried forward

    • Auto-renewal – the pass is renewed automatically each month on the same date until cancelled

    • Cancellation – automatic renewal of the pass can be cancelled at any time for subsequent months

  • 4-Class Pack - Online ($50 + HST)

    • Valid for 6 weeks from date of purchase

    • Valid for 4 online classes for one person

    • Any category of online class can be booked

    • Unused classes cannot be carried forward

    • No automatic renewal

  • 1-Class Pack - Online ($14 + HST)

    • Valid for a single online class

    • Any category of online class can be booked

    • Unused classes cannot be carried forward

    • No automatic renewal

  • Aspire Pass - Online (free)

    • Valid for one person

    • Valid for one online Aspire class per week

    • Valid for one year

    • Only online classes in the Aspire category can be booked

  • 5-Class Pack - In-Studio ($100 + HST)

    • Valid for 2 months from date of purchase (or selected start date)

    • Valid for 5 in-studio classes for one person

    • Any category of in-studio class can be booked

    • Unused classes cannot be carried forward

    • No automatic renewal

  • 1-Class Pack - In-Studio ($25 + HST)

    • Valid for a single in-studio class

    • Valid for one month from date of purchase (or selected start date)

    • Any category of in-studio class can be booked

    • Unused classes cannot be carried forward

    • No automatic renewal

Can I use the same pass or class pack for both online and in-studio classes?

No. The pricing structure is different for online classes and in-studio classes.

Can I have more than one pass or class pack?

Yes. If you are taking both online and in-studio classes, you would need a pass or class pack for each type.  For example, you could have a 4-class online pack plus a 5-class in-studio pack. You would book online classes against the online pack and in-studio classes against the in-studio pass.

How do I pay for passes and class packs?

We use PayPal, a secure online payment platform, for all payments. You may set up a free PayPal account and link a credit card or bank account to it, or you can use a credit card directly without setting up an account.

My PayPal account is not working properly.  Is there another way I can make a payment?

You can use Paypal to pay directly with a credit card without using your account.

 

On an exception basis, we will accept an e-transfer.  Please contact the studio prior to booking a class to make the necessary arrangements.

When is monthly payment due for the auto-renewing passes?

The first payment is made when you purchase the pass.  Thereafter, PayPal will take the payment from your account automatically on the same date each month. For example, if you purchase an auto-renewing pass on February 17th, you will make a payment via PayPal that day, and then, on the 17th of every month, PayPal will automatically take the payment.

I was able to book a class without paying.  What will happen?

Please contact the studio to arrange payment.  If you do not do so, you will receive an invoice in the amount of the price of the relevant 1-Class Pack + HST.   You will also be blocked from booking additional classes.

How do I cancel my monthly pass?
  • Log in to your Yoga Toronto 196 account.

  • Under ‘My Subscriptions’, scroll down to the monthly pass you wish to cancel.

  • Click on ‘Cancel Subscription’.

  • You will have a choice of cancelling or keeping the pass.

  • Click on ‘Yes, cancel’.

  • You will receive an email directly from PayPal confirming cancellation of the renewal payments.

  • Your pass will remain valid for the remainder of the current monthly period but will not be renewed.

I have a monthly pass, but I will be unable to take classes for a period of time.  What do I do?

If you are certain you won’t be able to take any classes, you can cancel your monthly pass and then buy a new one when you are once again available.  You may also purchase a 1-Class Pack or a 4-Class Pack until you are ready to purchase a monthly pass again.

I have a monthly pass, but I won’t be able to do 9 classes this month. Should I cancel my pass?

Cancelling your pass will not affect validity for the current monthly period, only for subsequent monthly periods.

I don’t think I can do 9 classes in a month.  What should I do?

It is not mandatory that you do 9 classes every month; you can do fewer.  Also, instead of a monthly pass, you may also purchase a 1-Class Pack or a 4-Class Pack (valid for 6 weeks).

My partner and I purchased a Monthly Family Pass but we won’t always be able to take classes together.

With the Monthly Family Pass, your ‘household/family unit’ can take a total of 9 classes each month.  Even if only one of you is available to take a given class, it still counts as one class under the pass.   If you are unable to take any classes together, it would be more appropriate for you to purchase separate Monthly Single Passes.  Please contact us if you have additional questions.

What is Yoga Toronto 196’s refund policy?

We are unable to provide refunds for passes you have already purchased even if you have not used them fully. Monthly passes can be cancelled at any time for subsequent monthly renewals (see above).
